Manganese Sulfide Type II Inclusions
Has anyone had issues with these types of inclusions in a way that yields poor ductility? If so, what preventative actions have you taken in the melting/refining process to reduce the type II and get type III instead? We’ve had no recent change to our melting/pouring process. Thanks

Ladle Downtime
Over long periods of down time how do you protect your ladles? Some suggestions that I have had is to gun slag lines in and to put lime in the bottom of the ladle. Just looking for some feedback to help preserve brick. Thanks for the help in advance!

Wood Plugs to Quick-Stop WC Panel Leaks
I’ve heard a few discussions at EMMG meetings regarding use of wood dowels / plugs to seal panel tube leaks for quick repair then run again until permanent repair downtime is optimum. Those doing this, do you have any procedures to share? Any good stories / bad experiences?
