Once the slag and metal has been separated,  what does everyone do with their slag?    We currently send to Harsco,  are there other companies that conduct this same time of work?  

I was wondering if anybody had any experience using SF6 vs. Vacuum Switches. If so, any strong preferences or opinions on their pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Does anyone spray their slag pots after dumping?  Benefits or no benefits? We currently spray our pots with a slurry mix and I was curious as to the thoughts of others of the value of this spray.

We are looking to replace our current H&K Laboratory 350 Sample Grinder.  what brands/models of sample grinder have been successful in your shop?  Is anyone using a mill to prepare samples for chemical analysis?

Does anyone know of hot vessel (furnace or ladle shell) fabricators in the eastern United States or Canada? It’s a pretty niche operation and I’m struggling to find outfits that do this kind of work. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
