One of our mills on South America is looking for an (used) slag pot carrier. Pot and Slag Weight:            55.000 Kg The model they mention as a reference is a KIROW SLAG TAURUS P 50” Does anybody know of a used equipment dealer?

Test weight to verify tap/ladle scales

We purchased a ladle shell and had a refractory shotcrete material sprayed on the bottom and sidewall. The plan is to fill it up with steel and let solidify. Has anyone done this before, and if so did you put any kind of chill scrap in the bottom ? ideas/thoughts/concerns
